How is this different from a referral program?+
A referral pays you a one-time bounty. A partnership gives you wholesale pricing on every school you bring on, every year they renew — and lets you mark up however you want. You own the customer relationship, the branding, and the margin.
Who handles support for the schools?+
First-line support is yours — that's part of what your margin covers. We back you up with platform-level support, engineering, and compliance. You get a dedicated partner success contact and priority escalation.
Can we set our own retail price?+
Yes. FundWillow invoices you at the wholesale rate per tier. What you charge your schools is entirely up to you — most partners charge between MSRP and MSRP + services.
How do partners pay FundWillow?+
ACH bank transfer only. No credit cards. It keeps the math simple — no 2.9% processor fees coming out of your margin, no card-decline drama, no expiring plastic. You link a bank account once in the billing portal and every invoice pulls from it.
Do donations route through the partner?+
No. Donations go directly from the donor to each school's own Stripe Connect account — we never custody donor funds, and neither do you. You're billed for the platform; your schools collect their own donations.
What does co-branding actually cover?+
Your logo, primary and secondary colors, tagline, and partner URL (fundwillow.com/p/your-brand) apply across the partner portal and every co-branded donor page. The platform itself remains FundWillow-branded in partner-admin contexts so partners always know where to go for support.
Is there a commitment?+
Standard partner agreements run one year with automatic renewal. We'll agree on a reasonable school volume target up front so the tier math is predictable for both sides.
What if a school leaves?+
Your wholesale bill recalculates to your current live school count each billing cycle. If you cross back under a tier, your rate adjusts — no penalty.
