Who actually makes the calls?+
Your student volunteers, parents, or coaches. The call station walks them through every call with a script tailored to each sponsor by FundWillow software. You can also flip on the FundWillow voice agent to handle the first-touch outreach overnight — humans only jump in for the warm follow-ups that close.
How much can a school realistically raise?+
It depends on your community, but pilot schools have seen 2-5x lift vs. their prior year. FundWillow works because every touch is personalized, every lead is tracked, and students have a script in front of them instead of improvising.
Is it legal to text and call local businesses?+
Yes — when it's done correctly. FundWillow handles A2P 10DLC carrier registration, opt-out keywords (STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE), recording disclosures, and audit logs. You get the compliance work done for you; we refuse to send anything that would put a school at risk.
Where does the donation money go?+
Straight to your school's bank account via Stripe Connect. No middleman. No check-clearing delays. You own the funds from the moment a donor clicks 'donate.' Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢ fee applies, same as any other Stripe-powered checkout.
How long does it take to set up?+
Most schools are fully onboarded — phone number, Stripe Connect, domain, team invited — in under an hour. SMS can take 2-4 days for carrier approval, which we kick off automatically as soon as you sign up.
Do we need to be technical?+
No. If you can use Gmail and Venmo, you can run FundWillow. The interface is built for a 16-year-old volunteer to pick up and start calling on day one.
What if we try it and it doesn't work?+
No long-term contract. If FundWillow doesn't outperform your prior fundraising in a full season, we'll part ways at renewal. We'd rather lose the account than have a school stuck paying for something that isn't earning its keep.
