FundWillow

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

FundWillow is built for schools and booster clubs to raise money in ways that are trustworthy to the communities they serve. This policy explains what we do not allow. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

1. You will not

  • Use FundWillow for fundraising outside a legitimate school, booster club, team, or partner-approved cause.
  • Upload contact lists obtained through scraping, purchase from illicit sources, or any other means that violates the original provider's terms.
  • Contact individuals who have opted out — STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or any equivalent request must be honored across every channel.
  • Send messages that are misleading, deceptive, or that misrepresent the identity of the sender, the school, or the beneficiary.
  • Message minors without appropriate school and guardian consent.
  • Send outreach outside the legal calling and texting windows for the recipient's jurisdiction (federal TCPA quiet hours plus stricter state rules where applicable).
  • Record a call without the disclosures required by the recipient's state (two-party consent where it applies).
  • Use FundWillow for gambling, adult content, high-risk financial products, political fundraising outside school civics projects, debt collection, or other regulated categories unless we have approved the use case in writing.
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data, bypass rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or probe for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization.
  • Upload malware, phishing content, or content that infringes a third party's intellectual property.

2. You will

  • Keep your account credentials private and use multi-factor authentication where available.
  • Confirm that every outreach list you upload has a lawful basis for contact — a prior relationship, a publicly listed business, or explicit consent.
  • Make sure every staff member and student volunteer who uses FundWillow has read the school's outreach guidelines.
  • Honor opt-outs within one business day across all channels.
  • Disclose that a call is being recorded, where state law requires, at the start of the call.
  • Report security issues to security@fundwillow.com — we appreciate responsible disclosure and will respond within three business days.

3. Carrier and A2P 10DLC rules

SMS traffic routes through registered A2P 10DLC campaigns on Twilio. Carriers enforce additional rules on top of this policy — including banned content categories (SHAFT: sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco), opt-in language, and STOP handling. Messages that violate carrier rules may be blocked or filtered regardless of FundWillow's approval. Repeat violations can jeopardize a school's A2P registration.

4. Enforcement

We may remove content, pause outreach, throttle sending, or suspend or terminate an account for violations of this policy or applicable law — immediately and without prior notice where the violation creates carrier, legal, or reputational risk to other users. We will try to give notice and a chance to cure when the situation permits.

5. Reporting abuse

If you received a message from FundWillow that you believe violates this policy, email abuse@fundwillow.com with the details and we will investigate. You can also reply STOP to any SMS or use the unsubscribe link in any email to opt out immediately.
